The stable mapping finding is SAVETETHER-MAPPING-REJECTED. Its reason identifies which proposal rule failed:

| Cycle | The mapping graph loops, including a self-mapping. | Remove or redirect an edge, then review again. |
| DuplicateMappingSource | The same typed source appears more than once. | Keep one explicit proposal for that source. |
| MissingPreviousSource | The proposal starts from an identity absent in the selected previous manifest. | Verify the baseline and source spelling/kind. |
| MissingDestination | The mapping chain does not end at a current persistent identity. | Point the chain at a declared persistent identity. |
Cross-kind endpoints are rejected during input validation. Parser, schema, limit, and path errors may be reported as validation messages rather than this mapping finding. Read the exact message and correct the input; do not assume a review completed if its status is Failed.
An accepted proposal records intent only. It does not change save data, rename identifiers, install redirects, or migrate a game.
