SaveTether reads only the declaration JSON and previous manifest that you explicitly select. It compares typed (kind, identifier) pairs, records mapping proposals, and saves local reports. It never opens saved games, modifies game code, or executes a migration.
Version 1.0.0 targets the Unreal Engine 5.8 Win64 Editor and was validated on UE 5.8.2 using strict packaging, installation from the exact source archive, nine native automation suites, and optional Toolset Registry smoke tests. AI integration is optional and not required to use the panel. See AI setup, coverage, and the changelog.
