MediaTether inventories local files declared by selected FileMediaSource and ImgMediaSource assets. It compares the inventory with a delivery folder and records findings; it does not move, copy, convert, or repair media.
Version 1.0.0 targets the Unreal Engine 5.8 Editor on Windows and was built and validated on UE 5.8.2 (Win64). The image-sequence workflow requires the built-in ImgMedia plugin, which Epic marks beta in this engine version; see coverage before enabling that dependency in a production project.
AI integration is optional and uses Unreal’s Toolset Registry when available. Normal plugin use does not require an AI client. See AI setup, troubleshooting, and the changelog.
