Exporting reports

Run an inventory and review its status, coverage, and findings first. Choose an existing local destination outside every inspected sequence directory. The sequence directory and its descendants are rejected as destinations.

Export manifest creates a uniquely named report folder containing Manifest.json, Manifest.csv, and Manifest.html. A later export creates another folder; it does not replace an earlier report. JSON is the typed data format, CSV is suitable for spreadsheet review, and HTML is a readable summary.

Failed and empty reports cannot be exported. Partial or cancelled results require the explicit Allow partial export choice and confirmation that incomplete coverage is acceptable. Before writing, MediaTether rechecks observed source paths and metadata; if they changed, run a fresh inventory.

Export creates report files only. It does not copy, move, repair, transcode, or upload source media. JSON and HTML are escaped and CSV protects spreadsheet formulas, but reports can still contain absolute local paths and project/asset identifiers. Review and redact a report before sharing it.
